With an aim to promote the interrelation between artistic and technological languages, MANDI THEATRE will soon bring in the 9th edition of 'Annual Theatre Festival', to be held from 24th thru 26th Oct. 2025

Held each year in collaboration with The Consulate General of India and partly funded by Illinois Arts Council Agency, this festival features community theatres from various states across the USA.

Mandi Theater is thrilled to invite submissions for the 9th Annual Mandi Theater Festival (MTF2025)—a vibrant celebration of storytelling, culture, and creativity in the heart of the Midwest.

This year holds special significance as we mark 10 years of Mandi Theater, a decade of nurturing community voices and giving Hindi and other South Asian languages a powerful stage presence.

We are encouraging short and meaningful plays in Hindi, Sanskrit,  English, and other International languages. 

Preference will be given to plays that:

• Require basic light and sound setups
• Use minimal or no props
• Are simple to stage, yet rich in narrative and performance

Submission Window: May 22nd – June 22nd
